ISP Minerals is created as a separate operating subsidiary of International Specialty Products Inc. (“ISP”), a global specialty chemical manufacturer

Ione, California plant begins operations

ISP Minerals is spun-off from ISP and changes name to Specialty Granules ("SGI")

2016


SGI's central R&D laboratory is renovated to provide a state of the art facility dedicated specifically to mineral roofing and aggregate materials
